MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS


Good Morning Warriors!

Congratulations to the Varsity Warrior baseball team for their 7-1 win over La Salle Prep last night in their round of 16 state playoff game and to the Varsity Warrior softball team for their 2-0 win over Eagle Point in their round of 16 state playoff game. Both teams now advance to the state quarter finals with baseball playing Wilsonville at Wilsonville High School on Friday at 5:00 and softball playing Dallas at Dallas High School at 4:30 on Friday. Go Warriors!!!

Congratulations to Miya Claborn whose rugby team out of Albany was state champions!

Attention boys and girls tennis players: The tennis awards banquet will be here at LHS this Saturday with a mixed doubles tournament starting at 1:00 with the banquet following at 4:30. Players please bring a snack or dessert for the banquet.

10th and 11th grade students interested in applying to serve as FOP for next year's Freshman Orientation for the Class of 2021, please pick up a bright orange application from Room 109 or the main office. FOP applications are due on Friday, June 2. FOP is a great way to get involved and to earn community service hours.

Boys Basketball Players: Boys Basketball has a summer basketball meeting after open gym today. Open gym is from 3-5 today in the main gym.

All football players planning on playing football next year there is a mandatory meeting today in the weight room right after school. It will be very short and sweet only taking about 10 minutes. If you have any questions please see coach Tomlin in room 311.

Seniors: Walk the halls of the elementary and middle schools in your cap and gown right after graduation practice. If you get signed up by June 1st you will receive a “Thank you” gift card from Big Town Hero, Dutch Bros, or McDonalds! Get signed up in the main office today!

Applications to be leaders for the Freshman Transition Program are available with Mrs. Fandiño in room 101. If you want to help with the two-day program in August and help welcome the incoming freshmen, please pick up an application with Mrs. Fandiño. You will get leadership experience, an opportunity to help others, and 25 community service hours! Applications are due June 2nd.

If you are a senior and a member of the National Honor Society see Mrs. Williams in room 408 to sign up to borrow an Honor Society collar for graduation.

If you have library books checked out they have to be turned back in by Friday. All senior books must be turned in by Wednesday including your textbooks as soon as you are done with them for your classes.

Sophomores: If you are interested in applying to be a Junior Rotarian next school year, please stop by the Counseling Center to pick up an application. Applications are due by June 2.

Track awards night will be Tuesday, May 30th, in the commons at 6:30.
