STAND UP SPARTAN, RETURNS!
Staff are proud to bring back the Stand Up Spartan program again this year. This program is to recognize students who are consistently making good choices and being respectful, responsible, and ready on a daily basis! Students fill out an application and have their teachers evaluate them in many areas. If they are accepted, they will be issued a lanyard. This entitles them to many privileges including: early lunch dismissal, special field trips, incentives at school and more! If your student is not yet ready for this special privilege, don't worry - they can work on their areas of improvement and re-apply at the next quarter!
Spartan Social is a PBiS event that rewards and recognizes good behavior at school. The social is an opportunity for students to choose a fun activity for the last hour of the day on Friday, October 30th. All students are eligible to attend unless they receive a behavior referral between the dates of October 14th - 30th. We like to encourage good choices and reward those who consistently make them. If you are interested in volunteering for this fun event, contact Mrs. Gardner. Any parents/guardians wishing to volunteer are required to complete a background check. Volunteer forms are located in the office and must be submitted at least 3 days in advance of any event you would like to volunteer for.

» The snack bar is still in need of volunteers! Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days most in need. It is a fun, easy way to support your student's school. Grandmas and Grandpas welcome, too!
» If your child has PE this year, it is not too late to purchase a combination lock for their belongings. We strive to create a safe environment for their possessions, but ultimately locking their things up each day will be the best option.
» If your student purchases drinks before school starts, please encourage them to finish them before bringing them into our building. Sugary drinks are messy to clean up and are not allowed in our gyms. Thank you.
» We take many calls toward the end of the school day. Most of these are messages regarding "going home" plans for students. We are asking that you let your student know in the morning before school how he/she is getting home. If there is a change in plans, please call before 2:30 p.m., if possible, as it is very difficult to get messages to students after this time. Thank you.
